Regional District of Kootenay Boundary to hire Senior Energy Specialist in 2019
Letter of Interest and Resume is due by February 8, 2019
The Board approved an agreement with FortisBC that will see FortisBC fund
a full-time Senior Energy Specialist (SES) at the RDKB. Funding is for a
maximum of $100,000 for each twelve month period for two years starting on
the date the SES is hired by the RDKB. The SES will help the RDKB find
ways to reduce its carbon footprint corporately and within the communities
it serves so both the RDKB and FortisBC can meet their climate action
commitments. This new position will also help residents, businesses and
municipalities to save energy and costs while building long-term energy
resiliency.
