There are numerous small burial sites throughout the West Boundary. You can ask a local Volunteer Coordinator about ones that might be nearest the cemetery they manage.

Beaverdell Cemetery

Beaverdell Community Club receives funding from taxation (Cemetery Service) to maintain the historic cemetery in their community — there are no active cemeteries in Beaverdell.

 Bridesville & Sidley

Bridesville Community Club provides Cemetery Service and receives taxation money to manage both the active Bridesville Cemetery and the inactive Sidley Cemeteries

Westbridge Recreation Society also receives money from taxation for Cemetery Service. This is an inactive cemetery in the West Boundary.

 Greenwood Cemetery

Greenwood’s Cemetery is active. It is managed by the City of Greenwood. Greenwood and West Boundary (Area E) taxation dollars provide for Cemetery Service.

This active cemetery is managed by the Kettle Valley Recreation Society who receives taxation money for Cemetery Service.

Although Phoenix Cemetery isn’t technically in the West Boundary, our regions history is closely interwoven with the historic City of Phoenix.

RDKB staff are working with the Province on use of the old Forward Attack Base on Hwy 3. It looks like an application for non-farm use will have to be made to the ALC before building can start. This could take several months.

As of July 1, 2017

West Boundary  curb side garbage & green bin collection services all of Area E (Sidley Mountain, Bridesville, Rock Creek, Midway, Anaconda and Beaverdell) with exception of Greenwood.

Green bins and schedules are available by contacting General Manager of Environmental Services with RDKB. 1-800-355-7352

No Charge for Green Bin Collection

Residents must purchase a $3 garbage tag for their garbage bag.
