What’s New: BC Lapidary Society Rendezvous in Rock Creek

The Annual BC Lapidary Club Society’s Annual  Rendezvous is happening in Rock Creek and area from June 7th to the 10th. BC Lapidary Society Rendezvous 2019

The BCLS is a non-profit organization founded to encourage and promote the lapidary hobby in British Columbia. The organization consists of 31 charter clubs, with a combined membership of approximately 1,200 people who collect rocks, minerals, crystals and fossils. The BCLS offers scholarships and is a member of the Gem and Mineral Federation of Canada.

Rockhounds from all over B.C. will be gathering in Rock Creek June 7th – 10th for their annual meetings, and rock and mineral collecting field trips.

Like rocks? Displays and demonstrations will be open to the public on Saturday June 8th and Sunday June 9th at the Rock Creek Fairgrounds Pavilion from 10:00am to 3:00pm.

The host club , Penticton Geology and Lapidary Club. has members from Midway to Keremeos, and Osoyoos to Summerland. You are welcome to check out the displays, and talk to us about exploring a new hobby.
