What’s New: Greenwood Summer Pool Registration is Open!

Pool Registration is Open!

The 2019 season is shaping up to be a fun one at the Greenwood Municipal Swimming Pool, with new installations, events and programs for the community. 

Once again, the Greenwood Municipal Swimming Pool will be offering Canadian Tire Jumpstart funding for families who could require some financial assistance in getting kids registered. 

Registration is now open for all programming, call in to 250-445-2211 to make sure you get your spot! 

Gators Swim Club New Coach

Local youth with get the opportunity to work with an accredited NCCP coach, she is from Alberta and will be staying in the Boundary throughout the summer. This is an amazing opportunity for local youth to try out something new, and really learn from passionate experience. Every Monday & Wednesday – runs July 8th to August 22nd

Adult Swimming Lessons

This program has run for the last two years with really incredible success. Ages 15 and up, there is no limit on how old you can be to learn something new. Whether you want to develop your strokes to a new level, or if you want to float. This is the class for you! Classes begin August 6th and run to August 22nd every Tuesday and Thursday. 

Red Cross Swimming Lessons

Registration is now open. Call in to 250-445-2211 and one of our staff members will help direct you in appropriately placing your child into the right level and registering for the 2019 season. Hurry up though, because we are already watching these classes fill up. 

Summer Camps

Jr. Lifeguard Club 

Bring on summer camp fun! This program runs July 29th to August 2nd. If your little one likes to swim, wants to learn about lifesaving and is excited to step into a leadership role within their community, this program is the perfect fit! Youth will work together on creating safer spaces and situations for themselves and others. This is a great program for all levels of swimming abilities. (Ages 7 to 12)

Just Fun

This is a summer camp that blends all kinds of learning and fun activities together. A focus on art and nature, youth will hike, swim, sketch, paint. We will learn about forest medicines, work with local experts about wilderness safety and make our own salves and lip balms. Kids will get to try unique and new activities and just have fun!
