What’s New: Hiring Library Director at the Greenwood Library

Greenwood Public Library is looking for a new library director. Applicants should:

•       feel a strong connection to libraries and value their role in the community
•       enjoy working with the public, including children
•       have at least grade 12 education, preferably a college diploma or university degree
•       have excellent verbal and written communication skills
•       have excellent organizational and time-management skills
•       be comfortable with responsibility for a wide variety of tasks, from front desk duties to administration
•       be self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision
•       feel comfortable supervising volunteers

This position will require approximately 15 to 20 hours per week, at a starting pay of between $19 and $20 per hour, depending on qualifications.
