The RDKB would like your views on three options for implementing the BC Energy Step Code to assist with our transition to the new 2022 Building Code.
The BC Energy Step Code is a new compliance path for meeting the energy-efficiency requirements of the BC Building Code. The Province has committed to a first step of requiring all new buildings to be 20% better than the current building code by 2022.
We want to hear from community members and the building industry across the regional district how you prefer to see this implemented.
