What’s New: Rock Creek Fall Fair is going Virtual!

Attention Rock Creek & Boundary Fair Exhibitors

This is the time of year when Exhibitors would normally be deciding which items they will proudly display, in the Exhibit Hall and the Agriculture and Livestock Barns, in the hopes of winning a ribbon and prize money. Exhibitors would be going through their gardens to pick their best vegetables or flowers; deciding which recipe to use to bake the best cake; expressing themselves through painting, drawing, crafting and photography; and furiously stitching, knitting, quilting and sewing to make beautiful pieces of clothing and quilts.

Unfortunately, while we cannot hold our traditional Exhibit Competition, we are hopeful that “life under lockdown” has provided you with more time to craft, create, garden, grow and bake. If so, we are happy to announce that we will be holding a “virtual” event to display your exhibits. We want to see the masterpieces you have created and as an added bonus, give you an opportunity to win some $$ and passes to the Rock Creek & Boundary Fair’s 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee celebration in 2021.

This virtual event involves taking pictures of your handicrafts, produce, flowers, needlework and goods and emailing the photos along with the entry form to: rcfair.office@gmail.com. Entry forms and more details are available on our website at https://www.rockcreekfallfair.ca/2020-virtual-exhibits . (please make sure you choose the appropriate form by age)

Entries must be submitted prior to 5:00 pm, Sunday, September 13, 2020. All entries with winner’s names will be post on the Fair Website on Saturday, September 19, 2020. This will give everyone an opportunity to experience our “Virtual Fair”!
