What’s New: West Boundary Family Connections is Back!

West Boundary Family Connections is back!
We are resuming weekly groups, with a few changes.
We will be holding groups outdoors following Covid 19 safety protocols. Family Connections will adhere to the principal of physical distancing where possible. Our groups will be for parents/caregivers and their children to participate together and there will not be childcare provided.
We have a maximum group size of 6 families or 20 people. You may contact me (Alyssa) to register each week to ensure your spot, and Monday nights before group I will post on Facebook if there are any spots open for drop-in.
-Tuesday October 13th 10:00-11:30, outdoors at Midway Elementary, Petra Nielsen from the Infant Development Program at Boundary Family Services will be joining us to talk about the Ages & Stages Questionnaires. We will go for a little walk to collect leaves, then return to the school field and do leaf rubbings and have our discussion.
There’s a link on the attached poster to do ASQs online.
For those of you not attending Tuesday’s group, Petra will be joining us on October 14th at 10:00am for a Zoom group to talk about the ASQ’s. If you’d like to participate please email me for the zoom link and to fill out a media consent form.
Family Connections, presented by Boundary Family Services, is a free, program for parents and caregivers with children 0-6 years and for pregnant women. It’s a great way to connect with other local parents and service providers, for fun activities and informative discussions.
Family Connections happens Tuesdays 10:00-11:30, during the school year, at the Midway Family Centre.
Monthly Zoom groups will be offered for topics that we aren’t able to cover in our physical groups.
